These are great! I can vouch for the fact that a little tobacco during my ayahuasca ceremony felt like it had a cleansing / resetting effect. Strong recommend!

You don’t have to believe them. But if you’ve ever sat with snakes, danced with shadows, or been cracked open by the cosmic joke…you already do.

Jp, so thrue!

Fine Reading. Tnx🙏

I danced with my shadows and it's still one of the most profounf things I've done.

Enlightening article - there are no casual psychedelic episodes.

It reminded me of my first Ayahuasca experience going solo in the warm afternoon summer sun in Brittany in 2001. As the waves of nausea were becoming overwhelming, a sudden whistle of wind rustled in the adjacent cornfield that captured my attention. This was followed by a sudden “bang” from my boombox which continued playing but slowly oozed a black viscous liquid. A battery had exploded. I felt a spiritual presence that encouraged me to pay attention.

I have the deepest respect for these sacred plants.

Amazing..thanks for sharing this!

It's wild how many stories like this I've heard since going deep into the world. And I've had a few happen to me that defy all logic.

You do a great job of hitting many universal experiences, and it's cool to see "the rest of the story" related to these myths/legends. During my peyote ceremony in Jalisco, I was told my spirit animal is the hummingbird. I "bring the story of the plants to the people." Also, don't fuck with me.

Thank you so much, April!

So cool you saw the hummingbird...and noted! ;)

I didn’t see it. I was told that someone else saw that in me. I welcome the possibility though!

O! Yes I see that now...sorry coffee hasn't hit yet.

Yeah I welcome it at my next ceremony as well!

I've been told I was a "beautiful serpent" multiple times in different ceremonies by people who don't know each other (and sometimes didn't know me). Not sure what that means.

A lot of these seem complex until the literal “non-linear time” is considered, then suddenly less so…

I wonder if we learn the tricks and not the skill.

Exactly.

Non-linear time reframes so much.

Every single time I read your articles (and now I listen to them) I feel like I’m listening go Yoda speak knowledge into my brain. So.. good.

I did ayahuasca in 2023 and saw the serpent. Since then, she sometimes shows up when I smoke weed or meditate.

Fascinating. The 'flashbacks' are wild. I quit cannabis, but when I was still smoking, I would get visceral imagery I experienced during my Bufo journeys when I would smoke.

I love exploring this world!
